The title makes more sense if you’ve played “Portal.”
In a previous post, I mentioned how there were a lot of great games coming out this Fall for the Xbox 360. Something has helped me with my purchasing issue - my birthday. Thank goodness for gift cards.
Once home, I popped in “The Orange Box” and the first thing I played was not “Half Life 2.” Nor “Team Fortress 2.” It was “Portal.” This game is so much fun!
The most surprising part - the hilarious writing. No spoilers. Besides, I wouldn’t do it justice. Just buy the damn game already.
Upon finishing the game, it opens up some new options, like advanced, time trial and lowest number of portals. This makes the replay value very high. To be honest, in the later stages I did have to run back and forth between the game and an online strategy guide. It gets a bit confusing and the game really forces you to think. Ouch, my brain! I’m pretty sure these new trials will keep me busy before more people on my friends list pick up this game and we venture into the world of “Team Fortress 2.”
And, yes, you need to own this game!
