Half-Life 2

Ugh. I think I’m gonna hurl…

Bioshock” took me a bit longer to finish because it frightened me. Now “Half-Life 2″ of “The Orange Box” is going to take longer to finish because it makes me ill. It seems to create the same sense of motion sickness I previously experience in “Marathon: Durandal.”

I Got Cake!

PortalThe title makes more sense if you’ve played “Portal.”

In a previous post, I mentioned how there were a lot of great games coming out this Fall for the Xbox 360. Something has helped me with my purchasing issue - my birthday. Thank goodness for gift cards.

Once home, I popped in “The Orange Box” and the first thing I played was not “Half Life 2.” Nor “Team Fortress 2.” It was “Portal.” This game is so much fun!

OMG. How am I going to make it through this holiday season? Look at these release dates:

  • “The Orange Box” - out now
  • “The Simpsons Game” - Oct. 30
  • “Call of Duty 4″ - Nov. 5
  • “Assassin’s Creed” - Nov. 13
  • “Mass Effect” - Nov. 20
  • “Rock Band” - Nov. 20

Must. Own. All of them. Hopefully Sean Preston and Jayden James Spears-Federline need some play dates, because I don’t think I can take care of my kids until February ‘08.
