The Halo series rapes Call of Dookie. I personally think the first was the best and that it has gone somewhat downhill in playability although the amount of features has gone up. The thing about Halo is every option is unique. Every weapon has a fun combination of plasma/human, scope/no scope, shot speed, explosive ability, tracking ability, some can bounce off walls, and every weapon is different in its melee options. Also there are multiple types of grenades and weapon pickups that you have to fight to get, not just start with them.

My primary reason for liking Halo more is it’s appealing map symmetry. That was more or less why Halo Combat Evolved was the best and the newer maps, not so much. But seriously all the maps still have different themes, bases, landscapes, and coloring. COD is just a bunch of buildings and even on those one or two rare maps that are a little different, the game play does not change for it. There are no items on the map so there cannot be strategy as there is no reason to go anywhere at any given point in time.

Finally CoD just makes people feel like they are playing good because it is more pertinent to real life and moves faster and uses real weapons so anybody who plays it feels better about their boring uneventful lives. Its like people who like sport and racing games where you press a button every once in a while.

- sorry but any good halo player knows that you utilize all the buttons on the controller at most times. CoD you will use analog, reload maybe, and shoot, and rarely anything else.

Yo people say cod4 doesn’t take skill, well that’s because the people who say that are generally halo fans and enjoy using noob weapons when they come to cod generally seen as, m16/noobtube, rpd, marterdom, juggernaut, and so forth. the reason they see this game as easy is because their brain has been so clouded by the faggishness of halo 3. they are used to using the easiest guns possible to get the job done and that is not what cod4 is about, cod4 is about progressing to use weapons that take skill to use and win matches with, that’s the goal, not being a whore and shooting unlimited rockets from a rocket launcher at a bunch of trash talking 8 year olds and then thinking that you need to be more skilled to play halo because the reason they think that is because they are better at halo 3 (Because halo 3 is easier)- because they play with retarded 8 year olds. In their perspective thats why they think that, if they were good at both games then they would like the both and if they were good at cod4 then they would like cod4. i loved the halo game series up until halo 3 it destroyed the franchisee for me (halo 2 was bomb). In conclusion halo3 can go die in a hole and most of the fags that play it can go with it. F U All

I agree that the ranking system in CoD4 is much better. But Halo has alot of fun a creative ways to kill, run over, beat down, etc. to kill people. CoD4 is fun too with the quick scopes, grenade launchers and the amount of usable weapons. Halo also have pilot-able vehicles. ‘Tie’

i have a 360 and personally like both they both have their good and bad sides. i like halo3 story mode or campaign but i prefer cod online much more than halo!!
but both great games but play cod more!

EVERYONE READ.
Halo 3 came out 2007
COD MW2 came out late 2009(like 2 more months and it would of come out this year)
2 year difference is a lot in the gaming world, and since COD came out 2 years after halo 3, it should have a great advantage over it, but really it DOESNT, COD is still a pretty decent and cool game, but Halo 3 will always have the edge(In my opinion and in many peoples opinion as you can see by the comments left here). But during Fall is when COD will have a real threat…

Ok listen halo takes skill, but cod is just a game of peeka boo. If you see someone in cod there dead, that is why cod sucks but halo is completely different. Halo is actually fun on matchmaking but cod has better story line

i think ps3 is way better. 1: better graphics 2: to play online with the ps3 is free but to play online with the xbox 360 costs $8.00 a month. 3: ps3 is more expensive than the xbox 360 and you know what people say the more money it costs the better it is.

cod4 will beat the shit out of halo 3. besides halo 3 is only on xbox 360 and everyone knows that ps3 has way better graphics and its just better in every way. i have both an xbox 360 and ps3.
